Gov Connect, Delivering e-Gov Telecare

INTEGRATED SOLUTIONS

With most of our public sector client base seeking a move towards a more Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), EAI offers a strategic approach to integrating information across the enterprise. This enables connections between applications to be maintained and new applications added quickly and cost effectively.

Public Sector Integrated Solutions specialises in delivering business solutions around the T-Government agenda.

Phase one of the e-Gov agenda was about e-enabling the public sector and we are now entering Phase two, which is the actual joining up of business processing.

PSI Solutions has used its substantial integration experience to support the Adapters Club since its inception and continues to work with the club and suppliers to offer integrated solutions to the public sector.

GOVERNMENT CONNECT

PSI Solutions has actively supported the Gov Connect Programme Board in its efforts to deliver a solution that will connect Local Government to Central Government and service agencies.

We have worked on a variety of projects to provide solutions to all components of the GC programme and in particular, have been active in delivering the infrastructure for GC Exchange

T-GOVERNMENT

With Phase one of the E-Government programme delivered, we are now working on Phase 2, in line with the SR2004 Service Agreement which requires the ODPM to 'improve the effectiveness and efficiency of local government in leading and delivering services to all communities' by 2008.

Before coming together as Public Sector Integrated Solutions, we were active in delivering T-Government business solutions to a number of local authorities, and partnerships.

We are now particularly active in delivering 'joined-up' business solutions in line with Government policy.

BUSINESS PROCESS RE-ENGINEERING

With the need to cut costs (Gershon), yet at the same time improve and 'join-up' services, the public sector will have to re-engineer some of the day-to-day business processes it currently undertakes.

Typically, this might be how an authority engages with citizens via either CRM or web portals or how it plans to manage information. It may be how an authority or partnership plans to adopt middleware or how to maximise an EDRMS application

TELECARE

PSI Solutions has formed a strategic partnership with a company providing solutions for the scaleable distribution of real-time multi media over the public broadband internet and a key area of growth for us is the telecare market.

Telecare has become a key technology for increasing the capacity to provide and deliver health & social care.
